Put on your pinny, The Big Fair Bake is here!

We think baking tastes better when you share it, so the next two weeks are the perfect excuse to bake up a treat for others. It could be your scout group, your colleagues, or your grandma; whoever you choose, by using Fairtrade ingredients you’re baking for whole farming communities in developing countries too.

Take more steps for Fairtrade this autumn

Whether you've been waving flags and cheering along, or grinning and bearing through a non-stop sporting summer, remind yourself here of how London 2012 has brought more Fairtrade sales to producers than ever before. The challenge for us all now is to make sure the standard set for the Olympics becomes the new benchmark for organisations and major events in years to come. Watch this space for ways you can help to make this happen.

In the meantime, check out the Big Fair Bake campaign –getting the nation baking with Fairtrade ingredients. Visit for recipes, fundraising tips, a competition and ideas for using your campaign cakes.

To add a little extra bite to your campaign cakes we've teamed up with WDM to tackle speculation on food prices that causes volatility and harms communities across the developing world. Here are some tips for baking a campaign cake to influence your MP on this important issue.
Whether you bake for friends, your workplace, a business you'd like to switch, or your MP, please let us know how it goes by registering your steps online, or emailing us
